There is so much diversity in the world; everyone has different strengths. Mine is to help adults experience relief from suffering and find more peace, balance, direction and connection. To get there I rely on intuition and research, spirit and science. This reflects my own personality, a mix of optimism and skepticism. I am trained in and utilize various therapy acronyms including CBT, SFT and ACT. Mindfulness practice and EMDR therapy can also be powerful. In my work with couples I rely on my training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Of course, being fully seen and fully heard is the foundation of all successful therapies. Like many therapists I am qualified to treat anxiety, depression, relationship problems, life transitions and grief.
