I believe that we all do our best – every day – as life brings frustration, stress, and even suffering. We work so hard to get rid of our pain, yet many of our “feel better” strategies have hidden expiration dates. Inevitably distress returns, or worsens. And- as an ACT therapist (and practitioner) – I believe that your ideal life is possible. We just have to (compassionately) give up the notion that we must wait until we’re free from pain to begin living that big, full life. We have to kindly show ourselves that our dreams are possible- starting right now. I aim to cultivate a non-judgmental, affirming space for clients to learn self-compassion, mindfulness, and other life-enhancing skills.
