Therapist Overview

My practice focuses on early childhood issues, including psychological assessment for children with developmental disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and trauma histories. I also coordinate the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Program, an evidence-based treatment designed for children 2 to 6 with emotional and behavioral disorders. PCIT provides caregivers with real-time coaching during interactions with their child. Children develop positive self-esteem and prosocial skills and learn to follow directions, and manage frustration and anger. After completing PCIT, caregivers generally report high levels of satisfaction in their relationship with their child, and decreases in parenting stress and family stress. I am 1 of 20 PCIT International Certified Master Trainers worldwide. I am also certified to administer the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), a standard for Austism Spectrum Disorder assessment. Additionally, I have experience using the National Child Trauma
