I have extensive training in the leading trauma interventions, such as Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and iRest meditation. I work primarily from a holistic, body centered perspective, but I am aware that every person and nervous system needs its own unique blend of therapy. Therefore, I use an eclectic blend of tools, such as Cognitive Behavioral, Existential, and Psychodynamic to name a few. I hold a deep belief that our body and mind were created with the ability to heal and recover, so I work to provide a safe container to restore the innate wisdom of your body to heal and move through what is in the way. I work to identify “holding patterns”, which refers to repetitive behaviors that no longer work for us – whether cognitive, behavioral, neurological spiritual or emotional.
