Therapist Overview
At an early age I realized that I wanted to have a career where I could help others and be part of a healing process. I work with a person centered perspective combined with CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing. I am completing my Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and received my undergrad at the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Art Degree in Psychology. I spent eight years working with adolescents at Vista Treatment Centers and prior to that I as a program director for three outpatient treatment centers here in Utah. In my spare time I like to spend time in the outdoors, making jewelry, pottery and stained glass and ofcourse spending time with my four dogs and my parrot, Diego.
