We cannot get through life without difficult times. None of us can. Whether it’s a family conflict, career predicament, or personal trauma we are going to experience them. And, yet, how we handle them can make all the difference in our future and the future of those we love. I have been doing psychotherapy for a long time, both with individuals and with couples, and hope I have developed an ability to help manage these life situations. I work with people in both short-term crisis situations and longer-term therapy contexts, from their teens to their nineties. I work with people going through life transitions, voluntary or involuntary, that relate to work, relationships, loss, or traumas and that are causing personal distress in a variety of ways. (I am happy to discuss briefly by phone to determine appropriateness with no charge.) I am not a “blank screen” therapist. I am very interactive.
