I teach clients how to regulate emotions, learn effective communication to benefit relationships, and increase self worth. We work on deceasing depression and anxiety to help learn how to build a life worth living. I specialize in the use of evidenced-based treatment: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (for 10 years), Imago Relationship Therapy, and EMDR. These therapies are based on extensive amounts of research and encompass the foundations of validation, acceptance, and openness. DBT is an incredible treatment where skills are being used to make life changes. DBT is not “talk therapy” it is based on behavioral principles to change lives. Learning how to regulate emotions for yourself and for your relationships is imperative. I have been practicing DBT for over 8 years and have been intensively trained. Both Imago and EMDR are great treatments to use for clients after they have completed a DBT cycle. All of these treatments are based on research which therefore produce great results!
