PASSION AND COMPASSION: I approach my work with both. For 40 years as a teacher and now a counselor I have helped at-risk adolescents and young adults in a variety of cross cultural settings. I have also worked extensively with adults facing life transitions, such as employment issues, menopause, retirement, and serious illness. I know how rewarding it is when we use our difficulties– depression, anxiety, substance abuse, spiritual crises, to name just a few– to develop resiliency. I provide a safe and caring space for my clients to tell their stories, explore their issues, and heal their sorrows. I have experience in and am certified to do video counseling throughout Wisconsin. For people who do not have access to a local counselor, video counseling is an effective way to receive help.
