Are you or your teenager struggling with anxiety and/or depression? I specialize in helping tween (10) to adult males with tough situations such as depression, anxiety, overwhelming stress, and school related issues. It can be difficult discussing big, negative emotions and feelings. Through the counseling process, clients can become aware of what is occurring in their lives and understand the underlying feelings that they are experiencing. I always want my clients to have input in their counseling process. This input creates an open and safe environment where clients can be most successful. My counseling philosophy is closely aligned with Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches. I work to provide my clients with an individualized experience to meet them where they feel most comfortable. That may be shooting hoops, playing cards, board games, playing catch, or other options while keeping your child engaged in conversation. In today’s world we can all experience life’s challenges. As a parent, you may need someone to walk beside you when your child experiences struggles. I would like to be that person for you. I would be honored to work with you.
