Therapist Overview

I am passionate about listening and connecting to others. Finding yourself in need of therapy can be a vulnerable place and I am excited to listen and walk with you through this time in your life. I enjoy immensely working with clients who are facing identity issues, work-related challenges, anxiety-related stress, oppression and discrimination, and those who are looking for a new perspective on the issues that bring them into therapy. I have eleven years of experience working in mental health, with many of those years being with the LGBTQ+ community. Because I belong to this community, my passion for giving back to this community is very strong. I use an eclectic approach to therapy. I often use a feminist and existential approach in session. I work in this field because I am excited and driven to listen and guide others into a healthier, more empowered version of themselves. During sessions you will find me listening intently, identifying the oppression that creates hardships in life
