Therapist Overview
“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” (Lao Tzu) It is my philosophy that our interpersonal relationships, past and present, determine our well-being. It is this psychodynamic influenced framework that I apply in my practice. I primarily work with individual adults for issues of depression, anxiety, infidelity, self-esteem, loneliness, substance use disorders in remission, and including life-changing events such as divorce and career changes. In addition to a masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I have received education in ‘Brain and Behavior’ and ‘Psychopharmacology’. I conceptualize my client’s need for change from a psychodynamic perspective and also apply the frameworks of family systems, developmental, neuroscientific, and Eastern contemplative practice. The journey of therapy should take you through your lifetime via different optics of insight. The purpose would be for you to meet your inner-self with compass
