I’m a counselor in private practice and a mother who has both personal and professional experience with families with children with special needs. I’m familiar with working with families who have children with ASD, ADHD, Anxiety, Trichotillomania, Tourette’s, Developmental Delays, and Depression. In graduate school, I received the Thesis Award for “Mother’s Knowledge of Asperger’s Disorder and Current Level of Maternal Happiness”. I have worked several years with individuals in recovery from drugs and alcohol and understand the unique needs of people in recovery. My internship was at Women’s Recovery Association in Burlingame. I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania graduating with honors.
