Therapist Overview

Welcome! Counseling is a space to tell your story, to connect different parts of your life, to explore meaning, discuss options, reflect, and make change. I aim to listen with you to the layers of your story with the hope of expanding and healing your relationship to yourself and others. I graduated with my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, specializing in trauma and minority studies from the University of Victoria in British Columbia. I practice from a strength-based relational model, primarily using narrative therapy. Having grown up abroad on three continents, I bring a wide range of life experience to counseling. To help create safety for you to share your story, I have been trained in domestic violence work and taken courses on trauma from Bessel Van derKolk, Dan Allender, and many Indigenous leaders.
