Therapist Overview

I have found that many of the emotional and relational struggles that individuals face are a result of having undergone painful experiences, and having learned ways of coping or relating that become unhelpful and even self-defeating in later stages of life. Through the work of psychotherapy, one has an opportunity to explore, gain self-knowledge and awareness, shift patterns, and discover, or discover again how to engage in relationship, both with oneself and with others. It is in this space that healing and change can occur. It is my honor to witness each of my clients in the places, stories and experiences that have shaped them. I work from a depth-oriented, relational, and psychodynamic approach, integrating current research in attachment theory, interpersonal neurobiology, and trauma. Choosing a therapist can feel daunting. Wherever you find yourself, I invite you to reach out, and together we will consider if we are a fit to engage this sacred work. I look forward to meeting you.
