Therapist Overview
**CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS** In my office you can expect me to be actively engaged, using compassion and humor to help us tackle what you’ve been grappling with, and help you to make meaningful changes. Many of my clients come to me feeling overworked, anxious, overwhelmed by life’s demands, or stuck in a rut. Perhaps you’ve tried a variety of ways to stave off such feelings (working harder, numbing the feelings, ignoring the feelings, distraction, etc). Together we’ll collaborate to help you figure out what is truly important to you, and get back in contact with those things. The technical stuff: I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Functional Analytical Psychotherapy. In plain language: The work I do is deeply relational, compassionate, yet practical and behavioral. I like to use tools that WORK. This means I’ll draw from the latest contextual behavioral science research to help you reach your goals. I spent 10 years in community MH working with teens/families
