Therapist Overview
My hope is to create a dialogue with clients, where they can come to know themselves better, and have the freedom to explore the areas of life that are most important to them. The decision to begin therapy is deeply personal and at times a scary endeavor in it of itself. I strive to hold a space where one can feel safely heard and accepted. My therapeutic lens is rooted in Person-Centered Philosophy. I also integrate elements of Psychodynamic Theory, Feminist Therapy, and certain mind-body techniques. I have a focus in Emergent Adulthood, and themes of identity, professional/creative aspirations, relationship concerns, and development of selfhood/personhood. Outside of traditional talk therapy, I have interests in therapeutic sound, writing/story, and dreamwork. I often integrate elements of these interests, as requested by clients.
