Finding a new counselor can be a daunting task; so many therapists to sort through, words to read, specialties to choose from, it can be hard to know what you need. I have a strong base of skills in crisis counseling, trauma informed therapy, and enjoy working with the LGBTQ+ population, young adults, clients struggling with traumatic experiences, and those affected by anxiety, depression, or other mental health difficulties. I utilize an integrative approach focusing on client empowerment, better interpersonal functioning, building social supports, self-soothing techniques, and better understanding one’s thought processes. I treat each client with a sense of unconditional positive regard and have one main goal for all of my clients, and that is allowing them to feel supported and unjudged in the work I do with them.
