Therapist Overview
Feel like you’re alone on your own personal emotional roller-coaster? Think no one gets your struggle to feel “normal?” Think again: You’re not alone. Many people walk around thinking “what’s wrong with me?” and unknowingly put up barriers to deep, genuine, and lasting connection with themselves and others. The truth is that your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors make sense given your unique life experiences. Together, we will work to understand why you do what you do, and how to “do you” in a way that works to foster authenticity in relationship to yourself and others. I work through the lens of the mind-body connection, using CBT, Somatic Experiencing and Brainspotting to help you unwind the shame and trauma that can cause anxiety, depression, chronic pain, and conflicted relationships. Understanding how difficult life experiences affect not just our thoughts, but our bodies, supports growth, change, and healing. My office is warm and welcoming, meant to help you feel at ease
