Beginning therapy can be challenging; I strive to create a collaborative, safe, and nonjudgmental environment where I can support your efforts to change. I use clients’ strengths, values, and preferences to personalize and inform treatment. I treat a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, panic, phobias, PTSD, relationship concerns, insomnia, and chronic pain. I have advanced training in geropsychology (psychotherapy with older adults) and provide treatments specifically for aging concerns, including life transitions (e.g., retirement, role changes, health-related adjustment), caregiver support, grief, and bereavement. I received my Ph.D. from George Mason University. I completed my internship at the VA Boston Healthcare System with specific training in geropsychology, PTSD, and neuropsychology and received postdoctoral training in geropsychology at the Salem VA Medical Center. I continue to value and enjoy working with veterans. Evidence-based treatments I provide include
