Therapist Overview
Are you feeling stuck in your healing process? Do you often struggle to find the words to describe how you are feeling? Do you want to learn new ways to solve problems, manage stress, express emotions and improve self-esteem? As a Creative Arts Therapist, my goal is to help clients explore and look at their lives in a new or different way as they journey on the road to healing and wholeness. I love working with clients of all ages, abilities and challenges. Among other things, I specialize in bereavement, anxiety, OCD, and trauma. Both art making and therapy are about the process of creative problem solving, changing our expectations, and learning to recognize how mistakes provide opportunities for growth. My training at Pratt Institute, one of the oldest creative arts therapy programs in the country, included Sand Tray Therapy and Dance/Movement Therapy.
