As human beings, we can often endure experiences that may alter our ability to maintain a desired level of functioning. Because one’s difficulties can stem from childhood experiences, as well as other significant life events or traumas, working with the individual to aid in determining the root cause of the issue is imperative. I strive to assist others in identifying, and engaging in a more functional state of mental health & emotional well-being. My experience in the mental health field began as a nurse, where I provided care for adults and children at inpatient psychiatric facilities. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have collaborated with government, foster care, and counseling agencies to coordinate and provide counseling services for individuals with varying challenges. I fulfill my passion of helping others by providing counseling services to individuals, families, and couples.
