Therapist Overview
God created us for the purpose of relationships and sent His Son to show us the way. At “Counseling THE WAY forward” I share basic Christian concepts and work with you to understand these concepts in the confidence they will help you nurture healthy relationships and restore your health. Some say that “hate” is the greatest obstacle to love. Some say it is “apathy” but I think it is “fear.” We choose hate or apathy to protect ourselves because we are afraid. When there is no fear, love is the natural response. Jesus frees us up to love. When I was attending Ashland Theological Seminary several professors encouraged us to specialize in a specific area since counseling is such a broad field. I have found that my specialty is helping people understand the healing power of Jesus Christ.
