I have had excellent results in reducing self harm, suicide ideations and other emotional disturbances of the clients I serve. I use Group Therapy teaching skill modules of Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation and Distress Tolerance. I use Individual Therapy to do chain analysis on problematic behaviors teaching individuals to learn how to intervene before the precipitating event. Through acceptance, individuals learn how not to be held captive by their past.
