As a life long social worker, I have served the needs of challenging populations for decades. My focus is to provide support for mentally ill adults in keeping their lives stable enough to live in the community. My primary goal is establishing a trusting relationship with my clients. I coordinate family and professional support systems in crisis-situations. I am available 24/7. I am a skilled resource coordinator and conflict mediator. When appropriate, I call upon members of the client’s treatment team (psychiatrists, other treatment professionals, and family) to help the client remain independent. I address medication management, help to sustain client housing (landlord disputes), and report existing symptoms to professional treatment teams. As a mental health case manager, I provide relief and act as an advocate for the families and caretakers of my clients.
