Therapist Overview
**** I will not be taking new clients until January 15th *** I am a licensed clinical psychologist and earned my doctorate in psychology in 1994 from DePaul University in Chicago. I have enjoyed working with adults and adolescents in a variety of settings. I have been a staff psychologist at the Memphis VA Medical Center, a staff psychologist with the University of Memphis Counseling Center and a psychology post-doctoral fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. I have helped people navigate life challenges such as the loss of a loved one, life altering medical conditions, depression and recovery from traumatic experiences. I co-facilitate a group for family members of homicide victims. And I have years of experience providing culturally informed services for diverse populations. I see therapy as an interactive dialogue that can stimulate reflection, growth and replenishment. Within that dialogue & within your own history we may find resources for solving problems and healing. ****** The Intake Coordinator in my office will receive your confidential message and will reach out to you promptly for scheduling.****
