Therapist Overview

The path to living the life you want begins where courage and fear meet. When we are low in courage and high in fear we feel unsettled, busied, strained and eventually-void of hope. The thought that life will get better or that we will feel better becomes hijacked by the void. Our day to day begins to feel meaningless. This absence of meaning can be experienced as emptiness, sadness, loneliness, despair and misery. It can also be experienced as restlessness, irritability, avoidance, stomachaches, headaches and illness. These experiences drive our thoughts, beliefs, decisions and behaviors and can lead to mental and physical decline. I value the individual, the personal story and the unique challenges faced. I believe that life can and will get better. I specialize in the psychological, biological, cultural and behavioral processes that contribute to mental and physical health, wellness and illness. The relationship between our body and mind is powerful, it can both make us and break us. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples & families. I provide ADHD Assessment for all ages. I provide parent consultations. Be assured that everything discussed will be confidential. It is important to me that you feel comfortable and safe. Know that I am genuinely invested in the process of building the life you both want and need.
