Therapist Overview
Trauma, sadness, anxiety, concentration problems, grief, and challenging behaviors – like defiance and temper tantrums – are often difficult for both caregivers and children alike. They contribute to stress, feelings of isolation, and problems at school, home, and in the community. When left untreated, these issues can also lead to long-term physical and mental health challenges. My aim is to empower children, teens, and families to create the change they wish to see in their lives. By enhancing resiliency, not only do we work to address current problems, but develop the tools to better cope with future challenges. I meet each client where they’re at developmentally and match my services to their unique needs and experiences. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) as well as trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). I am truly honored children and families invite me to walk alongside them on their journeys. Creating change in our lives often takes great courage. I never cease to be inspired by my clients’ strength, creativity, and resilience.
