My belief is that every human being is the expert on their own life—sometimes we need some help along the path. It is my responsibility as a counselor to walk alongside you and help you on your journey. Through reflection, healing, and self-empowerment, you will find your way back to your most authentic self. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, open, and allows you to be your whole, genuine self without fear of judgment. Together we will create a personalized plan for helping you to find meaning in your life and to meet your goals for emotional and mental wellness. I am an eclectic counselor who utilizes techniques from multiple evidence based clinical theories such as Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person Centered Counseling to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself and learn new approaches to old problems. I have worked with adults of all ages, with diverse gender, sexual, and cultural identities and understand how important it is to feel seen in all aspects of self. I am also dedicated to utilizing my personal experience and unique skill set to provide informed support to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color as well as persons within the LGBTQIA+ community.
