Therapist Overview
**All sessions via telehealth due to COVID** My clients usually begin therapy with me to find direction in life, manage emotions that may be getting the best of them, or to learn skills like assertiveness, how to set boundaries, improve relationships and how to improve self-esteem/reduce shame. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist. I have worked with individuals that are struggling with either mental health disorders, addiction, or those who are struggling with transitions and life changes. I offer Saturday appointments. I am committed to create a space in which we can work together by reflecting on the past and the present, practicing new ways to connect with others. I use attachment-based therapy (how do early life experiences shape us to be the adults we are today?) and CBT. My hope is that all of my clients are able to be the best version of their authentic selves. Committing to change is a brave decision and often daunting to consider. I believe every person is inherently good, lovable, capable, and resilient. My role is to support clients in discovering their true selves in a sensitive and safe environment “The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” -Carl Rogers
