Therapist Overview
I see therapy as a collaborative process exploring how the past informs the present and allowing trust and authenticity to foster insight and development. I strive to provide the highest quality of care, focusing on the unique needs of each individual and creating a safe environment with room for challenges, exploration, process, and growth. I help clients learn and practice skills for tolerating pain in times of crisis, responding instead of reacting, increasing self-respect, improving relationships, and participating fully in each moment. My ultimate goal is to help my clients build and nurture a life they feel is worth living. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ communities, addiction issues, borderline personality, complex trauma, and anxiety disorders. I combine psychodynamic and humanistic approaches with CBT and DBT skills to cultivate self-efficacy. Outside of my private practice, I also serve as Program Director for Suzanne Wallach Psychotherapy’s Comprehensive DBT Program. Therapy requires hard work from both therapist and patient in order to yield desired results. Your courage to show up and participate can allow for growth through increased awareness, mindfulness of thoughts and emotions, more effective coping skills, and stronger relationships. I welcome the opportunity to join you as you start this empowering process.
