Change is hard. That’s the saying, right? What if I were to say change is good, but it’s the transitions that are hard? Hi, I’m Brittany Stahl, limited licensed counselor. I work with teens and young adults, ages 12-30, specifically because this time of life brings many transitional stages. In middle school and high school we find ourself trying to “find ourself”, which is then followed by college or career exploration. Serious dating, marriage, kids, and potentially divorce may follow. These transitions can cause upsetting symptoms of anger, depression, anxiety, identity issues, self-esteem issues, etc. As a limited licensed professional counselor I am here to support you through these transtions and difficult emotions. I practice cognitive-behavioral therapy and use evidance based techniques and tools to help “rewire” negative thought patterns. I fully understand that life can be daunting at times and I would be honored to have the oppotunity to invite you into my space.
