Therapist Overview
I want to work closely with my clients to develop a collaborative and respectful relationship. Clients who are facing difficulties in their lives, and who feel that they need to make changes in their relationships with others and with themselves, will find in their work with me a compassionate, supportive, non-judgmental and empathic listener. I believe that my clients have inside of them the tools to make the changes in their lives they want to make, and my wish is to help them implement those inner strengths and innate wisdom to bring about transformation. I also work to help awaken self-compassion in my clients in order to enhance a greater sense of self-acceptance on their parts. In my work as a classroom teacher, high school soccer coach, guidance counselor, marriage and family therapist, husband and parent, I’ve gained valuable experiences about relationships of all sorts, and I rely on the learning from these roles to support my clients in the changes they are hoping to make in their lives.
