I have been working with people since 1982, after graduating from University of Hartford in 1981. I obtained my Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University, in 1995. I have extensive experience in various milieus, including working in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, outpatient alcoholism clinics, mental health agencies, as a contractor in several nursing facilities; group home clinician for adolescent girls; crisis/mobile crisis clinician as well as my work in private practice. I am an authentic and intuitive individual, as well as a caring, professional person. I see adults, couples, and young adults, mostly, in practice. My overall manner regarding working with people, is to serve my clients in a relaxed way, by utilizing myself, my experience, and skills, as well as intuition, to hopefully promote an atmosphere of trust and comfort between us. I naturally use a holistic approach, for people coming to see me, since we are all so multifaceted and multidimensional. By being my essential self, my clients have been able to share with me some of their most delicate and difficult life experiences. This, to me is an honor. To assist someone with what feels impossible to resolve, knowing that I am present with them, is a priceless gift for the therapist as well as the client.
