Life can be challenging. Some people struggle throughout their lives, while others are challenged when faced with illness or adversity of their own or of someone close to them. As a clinical psychologist, I provide individual psychotherapy for adults of all ages and school-age children (ages 4 to 12) with a variety of psychological challenges and mental health issues. When I work with children, I collaborate with parents as well. I also work with children, adolescents, and adults in groups that focus on particular issues. My special expertise is with parents and siblings of people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, and neurological and other medical illnesses/disabilities. This also includes adult caretakers of elderly parents. These family members are often overlooked, and I work with them on their own psychological challenges in these difficult circumstances.
