Therapist Overview

I strive to establish a supportive, respectful, and affirming environment in which people can identify and explore thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and recurring patterns of behavior that may be interfering with their capacity to experience a fuller and more satisfying life. I place a high emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship, and I offer a warm, relational, and culturally sensitive approach to therapy. I provide once or twice weekly psychotherapy services for adults. I have a collaborative approach that involves both therapist and client actively working together to promote positive change. I am trained in humanistic, psychoanalytic, and cognitive behavioral techniques. I am currently pursuing additional analytic training at the Oregon Psychoanalytic Center in Northwest Portland. I provide individual psychotherapy to adults with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, family conflict, grief/loss, and post-trauma concerns. I welcome
