Therapy is about investing in yourself and trying to achieve your best self. My aim is to end the stigma of mental and emotional health and make it a priority. I want you to feel heard, understood, loved and accepted. I am a Liberian-American woman born in Washington D.C. and raised in Gaithersburg, MD. I graduated from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work where I spent two years working with adults, adolescents and families in North Philadelphia in an Integrated Primary Care Setting and the Philadelphia Family Court System. I’ve worked with individuals from all backgrounds. My areas of expertise include acute trauma, adjustment disorder, women’s health, chronic emotional, psychological, physical and or spiritual pain, depression, anxiety, grief, PTSD with or without psychotic features, substance use disorder, unmanaged chronic illness, intuitive eating/ fitness, and truancy. I love to cycle, dance, drink tea, travel, make plant-based recipes, and watch old episodes of Hey Arnold and The Office. Life is about healing and learning how to love and accept ourselves.
