Therapist Overview
2 OPENINGS AVAILABLE — I believe that our pain and struggles are an entry point, an opportunity to discover something you didn’t know about yourself before. It is the call of your mind and your body to pay attention to what isn’t working and go deeper to be able to change it. In addition to psychoanalytic therapy (talking, symbolic process, dream work), I use Jungian, mindfulness, Buddhist, & somatic approaches to work with both the conscious and the unconscious factors. I aim to help you explore current issues and address repeated negative patterns and internal conflicts. I work with adults using psychoanalytic psychotherapy, blending in my knowledge of Chinese Medicine, spirituality/Buddhism, and creativity. I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Licensed Psychoanalyst and have a special focus on the body-mind connection using talk therapy and somatic approaches. My therapeutic style is related, empathic, and proactive. If you are the kind of person who tends to be anxious despite having talents, if you fear expressing your anger, if you tend to people-please or avoid expressing yourself for fear of confrontation, I can help you look deeper to address these issues at the core. Whether you think you have trauma or not, these issues can be looked at to address the roots.
