Therapist Overview
In my thirty-five years of practice I have worked with people from ages 18 to 87 and so I appreciate the challenges and the opportunities that go with each life stage. The young men and women I work with are intent on focusing on what they want to do and how to get themselves the training and opportunities to pursue those dreams whereas the couples in their seventies who are retired and now face spending most of their days together, are facing conflicts in their relationship with each other and their children they perhaps never had time to think about before. Using my experience and training in depth psychology, I simultaneously am listening and feeling into what the strands of intrapersonal and interpersonal problems he or she may have been facing for a very long time which are impacting the current situation and causing difficulties. My training in Jungian Depth Psychology, and in the Psychology of the Selves as well as my lifelong work with my own and others’ dreams, allows me to move deeply into profound levels of the clients’ psyche, and to share that understanding with them as we work together.
