Therapist Overview

Traumatic and stressful life experiences have made it challenging for you to live life the way that you want. You find yourself struggling with thoughts like, ” I’m not good enough”, “I’m a failure”, or the feeling that “something is wrong” with you. You’ve struggled with anxiety or depression for as long as you can remember. Living this way is exhausting, and you want something different. Regular talk therapy can be helpful, but sometimes it’s not enough. Brain- and body-based therapies, such as Somatic Experiencing, Brainspotting, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ( EMDR) can help. Imagine getting to a place in life where you feel less anxious and depressed. Instead of being controlled by your emotions, you have tools to manage them. You feel better about yourself, and your past experiences no longer have a hold over you. I combine talk therapy, and techniques from brain- and body-based therapies to help you get to this place.
