I work with people who have trouble regulating emotion. I am skilled in several different types of therapy, however, I have a significant amount of advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I tend to work with people who are experiencing depression, suicidal ideation, self harming behavior, trauma and anxiety. I can tailor my treatment style to meet the unique needs of each individual, couple or family. I’m also a clinical supervisor in MT for those seeking licensure as an LCPC. In Missouri, I provide therapy to patients in the St. Louis area through telehealth, and in person starting fall of 2019. I find that people are told from a young age to “use your coping skills” and we neglect teaching them how to cope. I provide clients with hundreds of practical skills to get through tough situations while also addressing the underlying issues.
