Robert Slavis

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in individual private practice as a psychotherapist for over 8 years. As a whole, I bring 17+ years of clinical experience providing counseling and psychosocial supports to children, adolescents, and adults. This experience includes counseling, school & medical social work, and crisis intervention. I work to identify a person’s strengths both within their systems of support and without, and work to bolster their coping mechanisms so that they feel more confident regulating themselves when they become emotionally triggered. I feel it is important to create and maintain a trusting relationship in order to cultivate one’s personal growth, mindful based coping strategies, and the ability to adapt to the transitions of everyday life.
