My ideal client is one who has dealt with anxiety and/or depression throughout life. The clients who have tried therapy periodically but struggle to maintain a stable mood. Clients who are uncomfortable in most environments and seem to always be on edge. These clients often face social, professional, and family struggles because they are reactive, defensive, and sometimes impulsive in both language and actions. People who struggle to be able to motivate themselves into action. These qualities can lead to feeling misunderstood and alienated. I have successfully treated clients that fit this profile. Many clients come with multiple disorders diagnoses by other practitioners. Diagnosis is subjective and heavily influenced but professional biases so I test for support to make sure the diagnosis is the underlying issue or only symptoms.
