I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist trained in EMDR to work with individuals and couples whose lives have become difficult to manage due to trauma, addiction, relationship distress, and self-worth issues. Clients who want to heal, deepen and grow will find my office to be a non-judgmental safe haven for the processing of their most painful moments. My approach to understanding my clients is grounded in an attachment based-neurobiological perspective. I strive to understand how the body, mind, and spirit are all affected by past and current pain. I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor with a Masters of Arts in Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I am trained in Trauma Therapy, EMDR, CBT, and Systems Theory. For all of my clients, I develop a treatment plan specific to their particular needs in order to bring about healing in the most respectful way possible. You are not a problem to be solved, but a person to be healed.
