I am privileged to meet with individuals/couples who are impacted by less-than-nurturing relationships and environments leading to challenges in relating to self and others. Expertise: working with couples, trauma and abuse. Training includes EFT (emotionally focused therapy for couples) and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing). My expertise helps with emotional, physical and psychological pain that result in ineffective coping strategies such as avoidance, addiction, emotional upheaval, perfectionism, dishonesty, intrusive thoughts and emotional numbing. Interventions include Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I integrate up-to-date social science research with a Biblical world view.
