I love working with children, the inner child in every adult and couples experiencing stress from parenting. I particularly specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, developmental delays, ADHD, behavior issues, Autism Spectrum and emotional problems related to other medical issues. I take a warm, collaborative and judgement-free approach. I’ll include you in your treatment planning because I think you’ll be more invested in a plan if you had a part in creating it. I help children and adults identify their emotions and what is behind unhelpful behaviors. We then learn coping skills and new strategies for responding rather than reacting to those emotions. We work to build on personal strengths, enrich relationships and find joy in progress rather than in perfection. I am conveniently located in the West Loop, blocks away from the Green/Pink Line’s Morgan Street Station and the Blue Line’s Racine Avenue Station.
