Therapist Overview
Therapy can be a wonderful opportunity to work toward resolving personal struggles. I offer a confidential place for counseling and support in a collaborative environment. For over 20 years, I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in multiple behavioral health settings which have included private practice, outpatient behavioral agencies, schools, drug and alcohol centers, and in-patient units. I use evidence-based treatments, mindfulness practices, and trauma based approaches to help individuals identify sources of conflict, make changes, and experience meaningfulness in their lives. My areas of specialty include trauma, mood disorders and relationship conflicts, as well as grief, addiction, and aging adult life transitions. Finding pathways toward greater well being is fundamental to my practice, but I also find importance in discovering meaning in suffering as well as in joy.
