All my professional life has been spent with children of middle and high school ages; first as a teacher, then as a school counselor, and later as a clinical counselor. I hold a master and a doctoral degrees in counseling, graduating with honors in both programs. I am one of the few therapists in the Houston area to be certified in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.
