Therapist Overview
Life is both beautiful and terrible. The human experience presents opportunities, obstacles and constant change. Oftentimes, the challenges we face are overwhelming and prevent us from seeing the possibility for growth, while the pace of living interferes with our ability to stay focused on the present moment where creative possibility abides. The distractions we all use to keep us from pain do not serve us anymore, but we are left wondering how to live without them. Navigating these challenges and finding new possibility is sometimes difficult to accomplish on our own. I use an integrative approach to counseling based on individual client needs. I work together with you to help you discover new opportunities and your resources for growth. I will seek to create a safe-space for you to be seen and heard as we explore your pressing concerns and challenges. Lifespan Integration, ACT, and mindfulness work ground my practice. I welcome the opportunity to listen with you for possibility and growth. While life presents challenges, you don’t have to navigate them alone. I work with individual adults, children (age 6-10), couples and elders, and provide a complimentary 20-minute phone consultation. My office is centrally-located in downtown Bellingham and is accessible by elevator.
