I offer a pragmatic approach to the treatment of a broad spectrum of psychological and relational difficulties. I draw from various psychotherapeutic interventions geared to promote healthy emotional experiences & foster deep & lasting change. My areas of interest include character development, life enrichment & helping people adapt & heal from experiences of addiction, loneliness, trauma & grief & their impact on one’s well-being. I guide people to initiate & sustain more active healthy lifestyles. I believe the aim of therapy is to help people be fully engaged in life & to endure, cope, perform better at the things that matter most to them, & to not be at the mercy of one’s thoughts, feelings, behaviors or circumstances. In addition to operating a private practice, I am on staff at Massachusetts General Hospital.
