I specialize in working with adults who are survivors of childhood abuse or neglect, especially when it shows up in anger issues, low-self esteem, disordered eating, or relationship conflict. I am experienced working with adults who have largely overcome childhood abuse and neglect to create a successful life, but who find that on a deeper level, that wounding is still in need of healing. The emotional aspects of childhood abuse and neglect show up in our most important relationships, creating frustrating blocks to healthy intimacy and resilient self-esteem. I have been actively engaged in the study and practice of the healing arts for twenty years. I have worked as a psychotherapist for nearly a decade. My background includes a wide array psycho-therapeutic models, including psycho-dynamic, attachment theory and somatics ( body- based mindfulness practices informed by contemporary neuroscience.)
